Rules and Guidelines

Here at PhotoSnap, we want to ensure the best experience for all of our users. To do this, we have a few guidelines users must follow. Our accepted file types are .jpg, .png, and .gif (no animated .gifs). If your submission is not in one of these formats, please convert it to the appropriate type or we will not accept it. The maximum file size is 5MB; this is to ensure the website runs smoothly without any slowdowns. Please resize or compress any images larger than this. Additionally, the submissions should adhere to our three themes of landscape, wildlife, or abstract. Anyone age 13 and up is free to submit their work.

All images submitted must be your own original work. We do not take plagiarism lightly, and uploading someone else's photos may result in a permanent ban. The content of the photos must be appropriate: this means no nudity, violence, drugs or alcohol, or any other suggestive themes. We aim to be a family-friendly website, so anything inappropriate will be removed. In addition, please be respectful in the chatroom. No bullying, inappropriate content (as listed above), or spam is allowed. This is a friendly community, so treat others kindly.
